Wii do not own the consol, altho wii would like to. I have read the first 10 reviews on this item, and have to say, I’m leery about spending 300+ $ on another new system with so few games available for it. I’ve been told the “GameCube” games are combatible. That’s good, since I spent all that money on the gamecube consol, and we have maybe 15 good games. Go to the store to buy games-there are about 3000 playstation games and maybe 150 gamecube games…

Nintendo, What’s up w/that?

Why…No. When will DK make his triumphant return. For 64 it was great. Nothing for GC. Now, nothing for Wii either. Mario isn’t even here…Luigi maybe ? No, none of the classics. Well, I guess Nintendo is trying to move on. I believe they should have stuck to there characters. I’m pretty sure Xbox won’t be letting go of their Halo. I’m dissapointed in you Nintendo. My love is dying.

Bad graphics, last-gen technology and a gimmicky controller. Add to that non-existant third party support and you have a pretty weak console. I have played about 5 games on the Wii at length, including Zelda and Wii Sports and I have to say this console is pretty lame. The controller is unresponsive, and the graphics are poor.

I hatted the wii for several reasons. Nintendo promised stores that they would double the increase of wiis they made. I was told by someone that by March, 2007 you could buy them without having to wait early in the morning for one. I wanted to also buy first person shooter games but they only had like two of them. Of course mario is fun, they don’t have to make like thirty versions of him. I was very surprised that my wii didn’t work well on my hi-def TV. I then found out that nintendo didn’t convert the wii into hi-def. Nintendo needs to do a lot of stuff to the wii before I buy one again.

Stop with the innovating stuff everyone. This system is awful. Of course the graphics are ugly (and not only on zelda, but that’s not the point anyway) but that we already knew it, but the controls are just awful.

1)You have to play on a large TV and pretty far from it

2) The TV pointing is fun at first but soon made me sick, there’s nothing great about it, it’s not a revolution, and in the games where you can (lkike zelda), i switched to aiming with the analog stick after 3h of play because i was sick with it.

3) The worst is the times when you have to move your controller to do an action (like in zelda), the controls dont respond like you want, and it adds a lot to an hazardous difficulty. If you want to buy this system for zelda, PLEASE DON’T, wait for it on gamecube and you’ll be much less frustrated.

4)The built-in speaker in the controller is very cheap and the sound it makes is like in pac-man game. Plus mine broke after a couple of hours.. i hope it’s just me.

5)Still my situation? Since there’s no web browser (like the ps3 has – well if there’s one i’d be glad to find it) you can ‘t connect on the net if you need a cookie to connect, e.g. on my campus you need to register to the campus wi-fi, can’t do it on the wii, so no network.
