We purchased this product for Christmas. First, it has no instructions. Second, when we plugged it to the wii it never worked. We tried the 800 number for nintendo/wii but NO help, impossible to find/speak to a human being for help. We determined it is a faulty set so will exchange it.
Our concern is that we found many blogs in the internet reporting lots of problems with the drum set so buyer beware.

Do not buy this drum set as a stand alone for the Guitar Hero. I wish I would have studied up on this before buying it. We bought the drum set assuming it would work with Guitar Hero World Tour…we were wrong. My 7 year old is very dissapointed and so am I.

Our family has turned this game into a great family fun time. Just put on your guard with some of the lyrics.

The game itself is ridiculously fun. The drum kit pedal needs to be reinforced however. After a few weeks of stomping, it will crack. There are plenty of aftermarket metal replacements for this problem. The new drum kit is rumored to have a metal foot pedal.
I look forward to the Rock Band 2 kit and to the Guitar Hero World Tour kit as I use this every day. I’m completely addicted.

the drum kit is a must for any person playing the music sim games, i recomend anyone try it
