While the game is a great deal of fun, I was really disappointed in the drum set. With the guitar being so neat, I guess I expected more from the drum set too.

I bought this game for my 9-year old son–well, he actually paid for half of it–so I think it’s only fair that he review it. So here is his review: “I think that it’s a lot of fun. I like how they give you the different instruments that they played and that they’re famous for, like the drums and guitar. It’s a fun game to play with and without friends. I really like the music selection and I like how you can download songs to add to it. I really like the visuals.” And I’d like to add that I, too, think it’s a lot of fun–well designed, brilliant visuals, engaging. And of course, you can’t beat the music. Unlike a lot of other electronic games that my son plays, I never tire of hearing him play this game!

I’m a huge Beatle fan and since I bought this game I live permanently in Beatle Heaven the game is relatively easy to play and the cinematics are just wonderful. This game recreates faithfully many of the Beatles legendary performances from their early days in the Cavern to their last live concert on top of Apple Records, this gamen is a must have for every rock fan.

My family loves this game and it is something that we all enjoy together. We had no problems getting the timing to set up properly with the wii. The graphics are fantastic and I can’t wait to own all the extra songs!

My son managed to get enough money for his birthday to get this package. It is an inordinate price but for that price a large group of people are entertained for hours on end.
The package includes the guitar, drums and mike to allow three people to play. If you already have an existing guitar you are in a position to add a fourth player and the games begin.
The game itself is pretty good, standard rock band fare with the great improvement of the music of the Beatles. For a 40th something like me this means the teen will be playing music that I won’t get sick of.
The background graphics and the various goals and additions are well done making the game pretty solid.
The big differences are of course the special guitar. It is very nice looking and the Beatles front for the Drums is pretty cool too. The mike turns it into a home karaoke system (my wife doesn’t approve) Its for the buyer to decide if the chrome is worth the bucks but it certainly passes the way cool test, but for the price it really ought to.
If you want to keep track of your kids and their friends this package is guaranteed to make your house the stop of choice for teenagers and 20 somethings for a very long time.
You will pay a high preimum for this item, but it will certainly get plenty of use to justify it.
